Our Next ESG Project

𝐖𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫!

At WPT we recognize the critical importance of sustainability and responsible corporate practices in today's world. We believe it is important to involve all colleagues during this ESG journey. That's why we launched an internal competition and asked our colleagues to think about ESG initiatives that align with our company's values.

‍

🚀 The colleagues could think of something within the 3 categories of 𝐄𝐒𝐆:

𝘌𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘐𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘵: Projects aimed at reducing our carbon footprint, promoting renewable energy, or preserving natural resources.

𝘚𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺: Initiatives focused on diversity and inclusion, community engagement, employee well-being, or philanthropy.

𝘎𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘌𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦: Efforts to enhance transparency, accountability, and ethical business practices within our organization.

We were really happy to receive so many good ideas from all colleagues! Of course this made it also really hard to pick one as a winner, but there was one idea which we have labeled as the most creative and innovative for WPT and it came from Aleksandra Mazinska. She is the winning lady of all colleagues!!

🎯 Her idea was born by the fact that she would like to do volunteer work, but as she is working full time just like a lot of other colleagues, it is hard to combine with her job. Therefore she came up with the idea of doing volunteer work during WPT working hours.

‍

At WPT we support this idea completely. All colleagues who are interested, can suggest a charity or organization within the community where they want to do the volunteer work for. We will check the possibilities of making it happen.

‍

Of course it was also a competition, so besides getting all the credits of being the overall winner, Aleksandra won €200,00 shopping credit at Ekoplaza, the sustainable grocery store.
